Black Australorp Hybrid - available at Point of Lay or as Day Old Chicks all year. The beautiful and popular Black Australorp Hybrid is a cross between an Isabrown and black Australorp.
This crossbreed provides the best of both breeds giving the chickens a good temperament and laying capacity. She will lay an egg a day for most of the year for a period of around 18 months and then she will decline and stop. We can retire your old girl if you are wanting to start with a new flock.
The chickens grow to approximately 30cm in height and should live to a ripe old age of around 5 years.
The chickens are sold at Point of Lay and come vaccinated and wormed so you can be guaranteed of getting a healthy bird.
