Pekin Bantams- These 'feathery balls with legs' are delightful pets and are cuddly and cute. They have a mass of feathers on their bodies and on their feet.
They are only small and do not fly making them perfect for smaller gardens. They do not lay many eggs and should be in accomodation with a roof as they can become quite sodden.
One downside is that they can become quite broody.
They come in a variety of colours.
Pekin Bantams are very fluffy and have fluffy feet. They look like big balls of fluffy wool as they move about the backyard. They are really lovely pets but do not lay that many eggs each week. They are more ornamental than functional. Do not need much area at all to scratch in and will not destroy your gardens - that's a bonus. Grow to approx 20cm. The prices of hens is increasing in the chicken auctions. A good hen is now selling for $80 - $120 each.
Chicks are sold unsexed and all roosters will be taken back free of charge. No exchanges for females as these are sold with an unsexed price.
