Bring your stingless hive to City Chiciks in Samford and we will split your hive for you. We take a few days to monitor the hive and then do the split. If we feel the hive is too weak then we will close it up and seal it securely with tape and it can be collected by you to take home.
This is how it works.
1.Call us on 32893007 to let us know you would like us to split the hive and book a day to drop it off.
2. Select the empty hive style you would like us to use - whether a honey pot hive or a super hive.
3. Block the entry holes the night before and then deliver to us the next day.
4. We will look at the hive and decide to split.
5. You can then take your 2 new hives home with you the next day or a day after nominated by yourself.
6. You will be charged for the empty hive you buy.
