City Chicks is a working farm in Samford Valley, about 35 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Everything below is booked ahead, so you get it to yourself rather than sharing it with a crowd. Most take under an hour, which leaves plenty of the day for the cafe, the river walk and the Farm Shop.

Dogs on leads are welcome. Closed-in shoes are the sensible choice. Children are welcome on the farm but must stay with a parent or carer, and the donkey experience is adults only.
