A 30-minute new farm experience in Samford Valley, for adults. Come and meet up close our miniature Irish donkey, Cookie. He is very small, curious and full of personality. This is a quiet, booked encounter at City Chicks Farm and Cafe at our Barn area next to the cafe. While other visitors get to watch, you go into the Barn area to get up close. No rush. No crowds. Just you, a beautiful little donkey, a couple of rescue calves and a pocket of country air. Brush Cookie and the calves with our soft brushes. Offer a treat of chaff. Take the photos you will actually keep. Cookie lives with our rescue calves, so the session has that real farm feeling. Adults only. 18 years and over. 1 person. Thirty minutes. $45 per person Perfect for a unique Brisbane day trip, couples and friends, photographers, or anyone wanting a gentle animal experience. Remember this is an adult only experience, with people under 18 not permitted for safety reasons. When Cookie has had enough he will let you know. That is how a good farm visit should feel.

Spend 45 minutes with our two friendly miniature goats: meet them, learn about goat care and behaviour, then clip on a lead and stroll down to the grassy river area. Expect plenty of laughs and unforgettable photo opportunities. A relaxed farm experience designed for our adult visitors. If children accompany participating adults, they must remain under the direct supervision of their parent or carer at all times. As a working farm, City Chicks does not provide supervised children's activities. $59 for 2 people. Available daily 10am and 12 noon.

You can book exclusive use of City Chicks Farm & Cafe and enjoy the farm in a relaxed country setting. For $220 per hour, your booking includes exclusive access to the cafe area including fridges, and the farm, giving your group plenty of space to connect, unwind and explore at your own pace. Your guests are welcome to feed the farm animals with included feed cups, wander through the farm and stroll past our sheep, goats, calves and poultry, explore the peaceful River Walk and enjoy the natural surroundings, and relax in the cafe and outdoor seating areas. Exclusive farm hire is available from 2pm to 9pm daily, making it ideal for private events without the general public. Whether you are planning a birthday celebration, corporate team day, social club outing, community gathering, photography session or another special occasion, we would love to help create a memorable experience.
